Asylum seekers and refugees have been increasingly featured in the national and local news over the past decade. Despite increased media coverage there exists a huge information gap and much misinformation in circulation.
This document was produced by the Race Forum in 2004 in colaboration with members of the Bristol City Council Equalities and Community Cohesion team. It seeks to counter some of the myth and mis-information surrounding Asylum Seekers and Refugees by posing and aswering a series of questions that are often asked by people in the UK.
