Bristol Women's Say
Women and their Communities - A Survey
During the course of 2005, we conducted a survey around women and their communities. This followed on from the Bristol Women Say survey of 2002. 379 women responded to the survey. A profile of the respondents can be found at the end of this document.
The 2005 survey explored women’s concerns over the broad themes of safety in the community; family support, the local environment, employment and enterprise, health and well-being and education.
(Please note that the relatively small sample sizes for some groups mean that the results are not statistically robust enough to enable conclusions to be drawn about the population as a whole).
